INTRODUCTION 簡介
Rope Access 繩索技術

ROPE ACCESS is a term that describes the technical system of getting from one spot to another by the means of moving along ropes. Abseiling (rappelling or descending), ascending, aid climb, through re-belays are the most common types of access manoeuvres in the system. The rope access system allows operatives / technicians to gain access to otherwise inaccessible locations as a safer and more efficient solution. Modern rope access system is a Double Rope System being developed to target the needs for high angled operations in the vertical environment. Rope access is not a type of sport activity, instead, it is a set of applied skill used for high angled work and rescue operations in the vertical environment / difficult access locations.

繩索技術是一套利用繩索在高空環境行進的技術，當中有上升、下降、輔助攀登等模式。利用些技術，人員可更有效更安全地到達一些以傳統方式難以到達的位置。現代化的繩索技術是一套雙繩索系統，是一套針對高空作業環境的專門技術系統。繩索技術並非康樂活動。

The Training Course 培訓課程

Throughout this Training Course, safety will be the main priority of everything taught to you. This course requires the candidates to have a reasonable level of physical fitness and be capable of maintaining a reasonable level of mental concentration. The instructor(s) conducting the training is highly experienced and will constantly adjust the progress of training based on the observation on the ability and performance of candidates.
在整個培訓課程中，安全是貫穿全部培訓的主要概念。本課程要求學員具備合理之體能及專注力。課程教練擁有多年實際高空作業與教學經驗，會因學員的狀况而控制合適的培訓進度。

Candidates will be assessed on the last day of the training course. The assessment is designed to test the candidates’ level of understanding and competence of the subjects and skills taught in the course. This is to ensure that any successful candidate is up to a reasonably high level of proficiency.
所有學員會於課程最後一天接受考核。考核的目的是測試學員對課程內容的了解及對技術的掌握程度是否達到合適的水平，從而確保所有通過考核的技術人員均符合卓越的技術水平。

Candidates who passed the assessment will be awarded a certificate issued by Rope and Rigging service Co., Ltd .
考試合格的學員將獲發 Rope and Rigging service Co., Ltd. 發出的證書

The course you are participating is a RRS rope access training system.   Reference IRATA International Code of Conduct and IRATA TASC. The following 6 levels of qualifications are established:
本課程是IRATA International繩索技術培訓課程。依據绳索技木培l课程。參考 IRATA 國際行為準則和 IRATA TASC。制定以下 6 個等級的資格：

Level 1 一級技術員
A technician who is able to perform a limited range of rope access tasks and should
具備相關能力以從事一定範圍的繩索技術作業

Level 2 二級技術員
A technicians who is able to perform rigging tasks, undertake rescues and perform a wider range of rope access tasks.
具備相關能力以從事繩索架設，拯救及較廣範圍的繩索技術作業

Level 3 三級技術員
A technicians who is capable of complete responsibility for work projects, is able to demonstrate the skills and knowledge required of L1 and L2; is conversant with relevant work techniques and legislations; and has a comprehensive knowledge on advanced rescue techniques.
負責工作項目的整體管理，須充份掌握一、二及之全部技術及對複雜之拯救技術有全面之認識。

Level 1 Trainer 一級教練
A trainer who is able to teach and assess Level 1 and Level 2 training course.
負責教授及評核一級及二級技術員課程。

Level 2 Trainer
A trainer who is able to teach and assess all technicians training and teach level 1 trainer course.
負責教授及評核所有技術人員課程及教授一級教練課程。

Level 3 Trainer
A trainer who is able to teach and assess all training course in this system.
負責教授及評核本系統所有課程。

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
參加培訓要求

Level 1 一級技術員
No previous experience required. 無須相關經驗。
Aptitude for working at height. 具備以應付高空工作的條件及心態。
Physically and mentally fit. 生理及心理健康。
Minimum age of 18. 不少於18歲。

Level 2 二級技術員
Hold a valid IRATA Level 1 or RRS RATS Level 1 technician certificate.
持有有效工級繩索作業協會一級技術員或 RRS RATS 一級技術員證書。

Level 3 三級技術員
Hold a valid IRATA Level 2 or RRS RATS Level 2 technician certificate.
持有有效工級繩索作業協會二級技術員或 RRS RATS 二級技術員證書。

Level 1 Trainer 一級教練
Hold a valid IRATA Level 3 or RRS RATS Level 3 technician certificate.
持有有效工級繩索作業協會三級技術員或 RRS RATS 三級技術員證書。

Level 2 Trainer 二級教練
Hold a valid IRATA Level 3i or RRS RATS Level 1 trainer certificate.
持有有效工級繩索作業協會教練或 RRS RATS 一級教練證書。

Level 3 Trainer 三級教練
Hold a valid RRS RATS Level 2 trainer certificate.
持有有效RRS RATS 二級教練證書。
Pass the pre-course technical test and interview. 
通過課前技術測試及面試。
